This week, I am trusting that the Universe is placing the right people in our paths at the right time to get our children the help that they both need and deserve. I believe that God works in the world through us, that our actions are what makes the world a happier place.
I am grateful for a pediatrician who hears our concerns and celebrates our children’s successes. I love having doctors that remember and know their patients. It makes everything else easier. It is one of the reasons that I love our psychiatrist as well.
I am inspired by a group of mommas that a dear friend introduced me to in the past month or two. They all have children with varying disabilities, some of whom are quite medically fragile. Yet they are always counting blessings, looking for the good, and celebrating the gifts that come every day. They remind me that I can choose to be proactive and choose my own weather.
